To manually mount/connect to the OXY network hard drives (G:\ , H:\ , etc.) after you have connected to the OXY VPN connection or if you have lost the Network mounts you can use these methods.

  1. If you have lost connection with the OXY network and your network drives have disappeared you can try to Log off and then Log in to your user account on the computer, this is the easiest way
  2. If you have lost connection with the OXY network and your network drives have disappeared you can run a mount script to manually re-mount the Network drives. Click Start Button, Click Run, type \\oxynet\netlogon\sayhola, press OK
(If you have just connected to the OXY VPN service and need to mount the network drives you will need to type this \\oxynet.oxy.edu\netlogon\sayhola, press OK)
  3. You can also manually enter the network drive into your windows file explorer. Just open up File Explorer or Computer and in the Address bar at the top of the window type the address of the network drive you would like to access. (e.g. G:\ or H:\)

if you are connected to the network, this method should permit you to enter into the network Drive which will also list the network drive in your dive listing as your computer has successfully discovered the network drive.

Look up what network drives are available.
